The World Blind Union is excited to offer five scholarships that can help turn those dreams into reality\u2014especially for individuals from developing countries.<\/p>\n<p>Explore Our Scholarships:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Barbara Marjeram Braille Literacy Scholarship<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 For blind women and girls (ages 14\u201330) in developing countries, with a focus on Braille literacy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gerald Dirks Scholarship<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 For blind and partially sighted individuals (ages 18\u201335) pursuing post-secondary education or Braille literacy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mary Hochhausen Prize for Music and Braille Literacy<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 For individuals (ages 18\u201335) or organizations supporting music and Braille literacy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pedro Zurita Youth Fund<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 For blind and partially sighted individuals (ages 15\u201330) looking to make a difference.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hermione Grant Calhoun Fund<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 For blind and partially sighted women and girls (ages 16+) studying in their home country.<strong>Visit<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/worldblindunion.org\/programs\/education\/scholarships\/\">our Scholarships page<\/a><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>to learn more about each scholarship.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applying is easy! We\u2019ve made it simple with just one application form, and applications are accepted year-round.
